These are permanent structures just like their indoor counterparts. They can be stand alone and placed away from your home, perhaps near a pool or spa. Fireplaces can also be integrated with a patio or deck for added privacy and cozy gatherings. We’ll be sure to walk you through your options.
Outdoor fireplaces have a firebox to contain everything and a chimney to vent the smoke. Beyond that, we can design it in nearly any shape and cover the outside with stone, brick or river rock. We’ll also add personal touches like a rustic wood mantle, decorative tile and even wrought iron accents.
Fireplaces and fire pits differ in that pits don’t use a chimney. As described, they’re basically a pit or hole surrounded by a raised wall made of fireproof materials, such as brick or stone, and mortar to hold it all together. Most fire pits are round to maximize gathering space, but we can customize a shape to fit your style. Of course, table top and other fire features are also available if you’d like to discuss ideas with us.
